The Owings Family Endowed Scholarship seeks to foster interdisciplinary thought and real-world collaboration for all of the participants:

• the student generates a valuable product and gains employable skills,

• the collaborating organization furthers its goals,

• the faculty person has an experience that will be career enhancing.
